DAY 01: COCHIN (BREAKFAST)

Arrive Cochin Airport/railway station and Transfer to hotel in Cochin. Check in to hotel, proceed for Cochin sightseeing. Cochin is the commercial and industrial capital of Kerala and it is also called as Kochi. Queen of the Arabian Sea. Informally, Cochin is also referred to as the Gateway to Kerala late fresh up and proceed for a local tour of Cochin.

BOLGHATTY ISLAND, Mulavukad, also known locally as Bolgatty Island, is one of the islands that forms part of the city of Kochi, Kerala, India. Vipin island and Vallarpadam island lie on its west side and Vaduthala lie to its east.

WILLINGTON ISLAND, is the largest artificial island in India, which forms part of the city of Kochi, in the state of Kerala, India. Much of the present Willingdon Island was claimed from the Lake of Kochi, filling in dredged soil around a previously existing, but tiny, natural island. Willingdon Island is significant as the home for the Port of Kochi, as well as the Kochi Naval Base (the Southern Naval Command) of the Indian Navy, Custom House Cochin and Central Institute of Fisheries Technology, a constituent unit of Indian Council of Agricultural Research.

DAY 02: COCHIN- MUNNAR (BREAKFAST)

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and transfer to Munnar by road.

On the way visit SPICE PLANTATIONS, some of the spices that Kerala is famous for and which you can see in the spice plantations of Kerala are pepper, cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, vanilla, and nutmeg. The spice plantations in Kerala are captivating farms to wander in, since different spices are cultivated in different sections of each plantation.

Arrival at a place which is called “NATURE ‟S LOVERS PARADISE‟.

On arrival at Munnar, check in at Hotel.

Later in the day free for leisure. Overnight at Munnar.

DAY 03: BREAKFAST (BREAKFAST)

Morning After Breakfast proceed to sightseeing’s MADUPETTY DAM, near Munnar in Idukki District, is a storage Concrete Gravity dam built in the mountains of Kerala, India to conserve water for hydroelectricity.

ECHO POINT, Scenic spot on a reservoir featuring an echo phenomenon, plus nearby picnic sites, boating & hiking.

KUNDALA LAKE, Kundala is a picturesque place, about 20 km from Munnar on the way to Top Station. It is at a height of 1700 meters above sea level. It is located at 20 kilomet Kundala dam. In Kundala, cherry blossoms appear twice in a year. The famous Neela Kurunji flowers which bloom once in twelve years, bloom in the hills and valleys around Kundala lake.

PHOTO POINT, Photo Point is a popular destination situated at about 3 km away from the town of Munnar. This picnic spot, located on the way to Mattupetty, is an ideal place for photography. Dense tea plantations, woods like silver oaks, small rivulets and rolling hills make this place ideal for photography.

INDO-SWISS PROJECT, Mattupetty Indo Swiss Farm, spread over an area of 191 hectares, is famous for cattle farming. The farm was started in 1963 under a project originally called as the Indo-Swiss Project. The project’s aim was to develop an exclusive cattle breed that can adapt to the local environment

ELEPHANT ARRIVAL SPOT, Elephant trails and morsels are a common sight on this grassland which is aptly called the Elephant Arrival Spot. 18 Km from Munnar, here you can experience the joy of riding the biggest mammal – a majestic elephant. It is a fun place for kids as well as enthusiastic adults.

TEA MUSEUM, The KDHP Tea Museum is an industry and history museum situated in Munnar, a town in the Idukki district of Kerala in South India. etc. overnight stay at hotel.

DAY 04: MUNNAR – THEKKADY (BREAKFAST)

Morning after breakfast drive to Periyar.

PERIYAR is also called as Thekkedy The Periyar wild life sanctuary is one of the India‟s Major Wild life sanctuary it was declared a Tiger reserve in 1978. The sanctuary offers a lovely and comfortable way to see the animals via boat rides on the manmade Lake.

On arrival Thekkedy check in hotel.

Afternoon free for local sightseeing.

Visit to SPICE PLANTATION, On the way visit SPICE PLANTATIONS, some of the spices that Kerala is famous for and which you can see in the spice plantations of Kerala are pepper, cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, vanilla, and nutmeg. PERIYAR LAKE, Periyar is the longest river and the river with the largest discharge potential in the Indian state of Kerala. It is one of the few perennial rivers in the region and provides drinking water for several major towns.

PERIYAR WILD LIFE SANCTUARY, Periyar National Park, also known as Periyar Tiger Reserve, is in the mountainous Western Ghats of Kerala, southern India. This wildlife sanctuary is home to tigers and a significant elephant population, as well as rare lion-tailed macaques, sambar deer, leopards and Indian bison. In the park’s north, Periyar Lake is popular for boat rides. Farther north, spice plantations surround the town of Kumily. etc evening boating at Periyar lake (optional) and overnight stay at hotel.

DAY 05: THEKKADY- KUMARAKOM (BREAKFAST)

After breakfast transfer to Kumarakom by road. Check in to hotel and later proceed to visit BIRD SANCTUARY, Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary is situated at Kumarakom in Kottayam taluk of Kottayam district in the Indian state of Kerala, on the banks of Vembanad Lake. Set in the Kerala Backwaters, the bird sanctuary is a favorite haunt of migratory birds. . Overnight at the hotel

DAY 06: KUMARAKOM- ALLEPPEY (BREAKFAST)

After breakfast proceed to Alleppey Houseboat.

Check in to the houseboat.
